About the book
The picture book ‘Indigo Violet and the Fabric of Time’ has been created by Alice Walters as part of her MA in Children’s Book Illustration. The book is designed to be used in an everyday setting to facilitate conversation about some of the topics in the book. Fabric and threads are used as a metaphor for ‘Time’, the story touches on the death of a loved one and the feeling of time running out.
